(UPDATED DAILY)

As with other events at the stadium, masks will be required upon entrance. Physical distancing will be practiced. The Blue Wahoos staff working the event will be

wearing masks and anyone handling tickets or food will be wearing gloves. The band, which combines classic rock hits from bands in past decades like Led

Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Journey, Queen and Aerosmith, amid a symphony orchestra stye arrangement, played its first Pensacola concert in March 2012.

Blue Wahoos president Jonathan Griffith saiid,. “With a full safety plan being put in place in the stadium, we’re excited to host a night of great music and memories.”

The last concert at Wahoos Stadium was Oct. 30, 2015 and featured Mobile’s Big Daddy Weave, a contemporary Christian band.

Update:

It has been a tough few days here in Pensacola. Hurricane

Sally has left an impact on our community Kudos to all the

Power Company workers who are working around the clock

to restore the comforts a lot of us take for granted. There is

still a long way to go.
Law enforcement has also done a remarkable job helping

facilitate this effort. Our patience has certainly been tested

on the roadways and at the gas pumps.
For the most part, people have really pulled together.
Our racetrack is in need of some repairs. We have some

roof damages to several buildings which we can handle.

We’ve just met with our friends from Thorpe Electric and we

have developed a plan to repair track lighting

Downed billboards, broken fencing, downed speakers, and

a few other minor issues can be addressed in the coming

days. We are thankful to all who have checked in on us and offered to help. Racing people are the best!

Hope to see you all soon.

In another rare stadium event, the Blue Wahoos plan to rock the ballpark. Pensacola’s unique and

popular band, White Tie Rock Ensemble, will perform Oct. 3 inside Blue Wahoos Stadium with a

classic rock showcase that will be a first-of-its-kind concert in the stadium’s nine-year history.
