Annual Beach Run/Walk for America's Warriors
Flora-Bama's 4th Annual Beach Run/Walk for America's Warriors will be the best run of the year! Who wouldn't want to utilize our gorgeous white sandy beaches? The start and end point is right here at Flora-Bama. All 5K runners will be headed into Alabama and all 1/2 marathon runners will be headed into Florida.
100% of the registration fees will go to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
The Special Operations Warrior Foundation ensures full scholarship grants as well as educational and family counseling to the surviving children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special operations personnel who lose their lives in the line of duty and immediate financial assistance for severely wounded special operations personnel and their families.

100% ID check for all visitors 16 years old and over to access the museum flight line to view Blue Angel practice.
The world-famous Blue Angels are based at NAS Pensacola, and can be seen practicing over the Museum at NAS Pensacola most Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from March to November. Practices typically begin at 11:30 am (Central Time), and last about 55 minutes. Admission to practice is FREE and open to the public.*
The outside viewing area for the Blue Angels practice is located on the Museum Flight Line north of the Museum. Signs are posted to direct visitors to viewing and parking locations, including limited parking for handicapped visitors.Open bleacher seating is available for seating 1,000 people. Chair service is provided at each practice session, a limited quantity of chairs are available for a fee of $3 per chair good for that day’s practice session. Concessions (bottled water, sport drinks, light food and treats) and merchandise are also available. Chair service, concessions and merchandise are provided by the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation and proceeds support the Museum and Foundation programs.
Please note that backpacks, daypacks, luggage, or similar items are NOT allowed on the flight line during Blue Angel practice air shows. Small purses, bags containing medications, and diaper bags are allowed, but are subject to search by Naval Air Station Pensacola Security personnel.

Open Streets started as a way to close city streets to motor traffic and let people ride, skateboard, walk, shop or just play in the street. They will close Main and Palafox from Gulf Power to The Maritime Park and Palafox from the Pier to Garden St. The Mayor wants everyone with a heartbeat, all ages, to come out and enjoy the streets safely! There will be lots of activities and even some surprises.
